GUITAR FOR YOUNG BEGINNERS (Ages 6-8)

This course is designed to introduce younger students to the basics of guitar playing by incorporating an extensive repertoire of well-known children’s songs carefully graded into an easy-to-follow format that provides the right start to music education. Students will be introduced to playing both single note melodies and simplified chords, incorporating quarter, half and whole notes along with their equivalent rests. Students will be taught to read music and will be introduced to many basic musical terms. The material is presented with colorful illustrations throughout to stimulate and maintain the students’ interest. Instructor requires a parent or guardian present with their child during each class. Students are required to provide an acoustic guitar or electric guitar and amplifier.

CLASS FEE: $187.50/10 week class

There will be a $20.00 material fee due to instructor on the first day of class.
