These collections are used as a supplement to the Hal Leonard Guitar Method or any other beginning guitar method. It coordinates with the skills introduced in The Hal Leonard Guitar Method. Each song is presented in an easy-to-read format-including lyrics to help you strum along.

With the songs in these books, you can practice basic chords and strumming patterns-plus learn how to play rhythm to some great tunes!

Each Easy Pop Rhythms book comes with a CD so you can practice playing with a real band. On the CD, each song begins with a full (or partial) measure of clicks, which sets the tempo and prepares you for strumming along.

The songs are presented in order of difficulty and the accompanying CD features every song recorded by a full band, so you can hear how each song sounds and then play along when you're ready.
